Dez Bryant Prostitute Question: What were Ireland's intentions?

Like most stories, we'll probably never know the truth about what really was asked.  If, like Ireland claims, Bryant first said that his dad was a pimp and his mom worked for his dad, then asking the prostitute question makes a lot of sense, in that context.

If it came out of the blue as some kind of Rorschach test, it certainly lacks tact.

But, really, does anyone think that Ireland was being intentionally disrespectful?  Was he too big for his britches and abusing his power, thinking he was untouchable and Bryant was beneath him?

He already knew the answer, so the only thing I can think of is that he was trying to provoke a response?  Was he looking for Bryant to fly across the desk and throttle him, get angry, or handle it in stride?  Who knows. 

He did apologize, sincerely or not.  End of story.

She was arrested just last year for sale of crack Cocaine . Its hard to believe a crack dealer didn't choke a meat stick once or twice for money, but either way, the question was not out of line in trying to determine if this troubled Young man was a good investment.
