Ok, time to pick who you think will be the surprise training camp casualties.

I'm going with Pat White and perhaps Patrick Turner.  Neither one has impressed so far and they've brought in better free agents in both cases that I think pushes them off the roster.

It could be Pat White, but I keep thinking about how they put White in nearly every game last season.  This isn't the kind of coaching staff that would do that if the didn't see something in practice that they liked.  Therefore, I think he stays unless he does something in preseason that gets the attention of a possible trade partner.

My feeling is that the running back position is the most primed for an unfortunate dismissal.  Each running back has a potential reason for being let go.

Ricky is old and not coming back anyway.
Brown hasn't signed and may be asking for too much.  (Not to mention a bad injury history)
Hilliard looks a little too much like Ronnie and Ricky to keep all three.
Cobbs is a jack of all trades but master of none and coming off a big injury
Sheets has speed, but only has film from practice to help his cause.  (coaches like game film)

Anyway, just a thought really.

Ricky is a hard worker, their best back last year and he's healthy unlike Ronnie, so he's not going anywhere.  Brown hasn't signed because there's no reason for him to sign.  The contract offered is the lowest the Dolphins can offer, they can't go any lower, so there's no reason for him to sign it.  He's hoping that something will change and they'll give him a bigger contract, but he's not going to hold out.  He'll sign it when he has to.  Cobbs is injured, but he's loved by Sparano and will be back when he's healthy.  Hilliard and Sheets are waiting for their chance which may come this year if Ronnie or Ricky are not healthy.  I like what I saw of Hilliard at the end of last year.

I think that White is a likely cut.  He just looked incredibly inept every time we saw him last year.  On top of that, with Marshall now in the game, I imagine we'll want to run a traditional offense more often.  I wish that White could work out, but I just don't see it happening.

As for Pat Turner, I am skeptical of what he can do.  In all of my talking with the team last year, they seemed to sound excited for Turner, but the guy never got on the field.  That makes me think that they just couldn't afford the dress-out spot.  However, I'm not sure you cut a guy who's not getting on the field for political reasons (and not outright skill).  On top of that, I think the RB situation is a bit up in the air, so you probably want to stockpile your guys.  Still, though, I see Turner as a 4 option at best...a little concerning.

I don't think Turner will make the team.  We keep 5 WR's - Marshall, Bess, Camarillo, and Hartline are givens.  I am betting Turner gets beat out by some new guy.

Quentin Moses (even though we're semi Thin at the position)
Lionel Dotson
Donald Thomas (I think we've brought in a lot of people that can play guard,He has to show up big time to make the team IMO)

^^ you're thinking of Lex Hilliard?  If so, I couldn't disagree more.  This kid is good.  But he played at the end of the year, you were right that Pat Turner couldn't even dress.
