It seems to me MikeO is trying to start a verbal war more than Sparano is.

Without question Saprano is NOT trying to start a verbal war and MikeO is.  The only failing of Saprano is allowing himself to get dragged into one by members of the media with the same agenda as MikeO.

I'm with Stroke.  The title of this thread is somewhat misleading as it's not what the coach said.  What was actually said is absolutely more respectful to the fans than what is being painted as what was said.

I have zero issues with what was actually said.  Zippo.  Nada.  None.

Let's be very careful with misrepresenting people.  It's a slippery slope.

I think this is a misrepresentation and an overreaction. This is a non story. I don't see any other fans than MikeO in arms over this. It seems to me MikeO is trying to start a verbal war more than Sparano is.
