He is certainly one of the better QBs in the league.  I don't know about elite.  But it is hell of a lot less bravado than what the former DC of the team spews hourly.

I don't think he'll ever put up "elite" QB stats while playing in Baltimore's offense, but I think that in respect to pure talent: arm strength, accuracy, pocket presence, leadership intangibles, all the QB skills... If Flacco isn't elite yet, he sure seems to be heading in that direction.
