The first year that Rex fails to get his team into the playoffs, he's out of New York.

That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Nah, he will have a little bit of a net. Being in the playoffs his first 2 years. Being in the AFC Championship game bought him some time. He talks the talk but so far he is walking the walk. You can't set the bar at Super Bowl or bust, that is unrealistic. So the fact he makes the playoffs every year says something. Especially for a franchise that has only gone to the playoffs in back to back years only a handful of times in their history

You might be right, the Jets have never been what you might call a classy orginization, so maybe playoff games is enough, but with all that has gone on this year, I'd be looking for any reason I could to get rid of him.  He's just too much of a magnet for media scrutiny.

I don't know... the New York media is pretty rough.  Given the on-field and off-field antics it wouldn't take much to push him out.  Jets fans want to be back in the Superbowl just as much as Fins fans.  They are tired of the Giants getting the glory.
