These are a pretty big change.  New color swap, new logos, new everything.  I like the style and that it i kinda throwback, but there are things I don't like about the logos.

I also don't feel like the style or logos match the team name.  "Wizards" is a pretty bad team name for a team based out of DC.

Nay on the uniforms... Too "blah"...and the retro thing just isn't doing it for me.

They petitioned the league to be called the Washington Unethical Weasels, but were turned down by the league office.

Back to the old Bullets colors, which unfortunetaly is a more apt name for Washington DC with the crime rate.  I like the uniforms though.

Thumbs up.  The colors fit the history of the franchise.

Yeeeesh, no way! Change it, and while they're at it, change the ridiculous team name too, go back to the Bullets...

Those are just like their old uniforms. I hope they didn't pay for this.

These are, basically, a return to the old Bulletts uniforms.

I dig 'em.
+1...they never should have gotten rid of the old name...bullets = violence so they had to change the name?  pffffft....funny how Cleveland still has the Indians, but Washington had to change their name over an object that has no say.  (BTW, Cleveland shouldn't change their name either.)

Washington still has the Redskins, so that's not really the best example to pick.

Maine, when you say there is a "steep difference" between Redskins and Bullets, what do you mean?  I'd say Redskins is far more objectionable.

Furthermore, the Bullets aren't conspicuously violent in context, when you look at other teams like the Buccaneers, Pirates, Predators, Raiders, Sabres, and Thrashers.  I know it's not your logic; I'm just saying that it's poor reasoning.

^^^ Why would you include Sabres? Why would a sabre be considered more objectionable than a bullet? I think that counters your argument.

^^^ I'll take a crack at that one:

Bullets can be used for the very innocent hunting of animals for food...

Sabres weren't used for hunting so much as they were used for sword fighting between two people who wanted to slice each other up.

I don't think Sabres are more objectionable; just equally so.

I understand wanting to get rid of the Bullets name, specifically because of the image of Washington D.C. being so laden with gun violence.  It's not offensive, per se, but it's probably smart marketing and a re-branding of the city.

As for Redskins -- yeah, that's probably more OFFENSIVE, but frankly, it's a minority that's so minor that it likely won't hurt business.  Also, Redskins is such an antiquated term that isn't coming from a place of hate.
