I deleted Sportschick's post in the Goat Trailer thread, but I thought that the note was worth bringing here.

She took the position that the practice bubble is correlated or causal to our going 0-6 since then in the heat.

Thoughts?

Didn't Sparano stop using it for most things this off-season? To force the players to play in scorching, humid weather?

I don't think it has anything to do with anything.  I think its more like we have been a shitty team since then, and of course we suck, bubble or not.

The Dolphins used to be like 0-17 in December at some point, maybe they should go practice in the Panthers' ice arena...

Its just a coincidence.  Better than having guys tearing ACL's from practicing in the mud when its pouring rain every day in July.

For anyone with actual knowledge, how much is it getting used? Is it strictly in rainy situations, are they dodging the heat some, etc. I really want to know how much time they are spending in there and I'm not sure anyone really knows the answer.

Maybe they can't hang out and condition because they are so upset about Sparano yelling at them during practice.

I know today's high school players do not have the hearts of kids in the past. Not talent but the heart to want to push yourself. We feel it's due to so many video games and such and kids are just generally feel entitled and lazy. It certainly seems that it has spread to the NFL.

According to Mike Berardino (I tweeted to him directly), they use the practice bubble in the rain and on Fridays during the season.

My guess is that they want final game prep to be done indoors, away from any potential spies.
