Now I'm not sure who we have to give up to the Padres for Hoyer,but they haven't been near as obnoxious as a few Red Sox fans..(none here) that kept thinking they were getting Garza,or Castro...And anytime there was a Cubs story,seemed to bring up the compensation issue...

I think it's a joke that this went on as long as it did. As a fan, I really didn't a flying leap what we "got" for Theo. I'm of the mind that if a GM doesn't want to be with your team, he's useless anyways

There was tweet yesterday something about how great the trade was,We traded one of our divison rivals aces,for Theo,Win,Win...

So I walked into meetings yesterday looking at my phone and saying..."Chris Carpenter traded to the Red Sox" watching the panic on the Cardinal fans faces,What? Who'd we get in return? No Way!....then saying "for Theo Epstein..."

Yeah I know it's bad,but fun as a Cubs fan...
