When Matt Barkley went back to USC and the QB pool in the draft became essentially 2 players, that changed everything

When Matt Moore started performing, that changed everything.

I would empty the bank on Flynn if the rest of the Packers came with him. Other than that you have to be cautious.

If Flynn is so great, the Packers can keep him and send us Rodgers.  I'm done with other people's sloppy seconds.  We're running out of condoms.

Make sure you watch that game before you jump on the Flynn bandwagon!  I watched the replay last night and just jumped to the Green Bay offensive plays and I was not impressed.

This is the problem with stat lines; they rarely tell the story.  He had at least two or three super crappy passes that went right into the dirt.  He lost a fumble that really could have been held onto.  He through a pretty blatant interception and nearly had another where two defenders let the ball go through their hands.  Nearly all of his passes were receivers making amazing runs after the catch.  On the deep throw to Nelson down the middle, he underthrew the ball by a good bit and was lucky on the turn out.  He was out of shotgun nearly the whole game, which isn't a great thing for most offenses.  And he had horrible time management at the end of the first half.

His best drive by far was the final one of the game and I give him a lot of credit for that.  It is important to have a QB that can lead your team to a win at the end.  He also did a good job of shrugging off his mistakes.  But his stat line was because his receivers were way too much for the Lion's crappy secondary to handle.

I would definitely not pay this guy big bucks!  He would be good to come in and compete with Moore if his pay isn't astronomical.  I think he is going to want too much money and end up being a bust because of it.
