You and I agree on something. 4 or 5 year deal for a running back approaching 30 is horrible. Miller looks competent and can replace Bush. Bush and his big contract expations will be someone else's worry after this season. Let him walk.

This we agree on. 2 year deal, fine. Nothing more for a RB with 7 years in this league. With Miller/Thomas no need to go crazy here and overpay. Bush won't have a huge market when FA begins anyway. Nobody pays big money for RB's with that many years in the league. He will stay in Miami

Is this even a debate?  Bush is great, but you have to pay for the future, not for the present.  Bush needs to get 2 year deals, at max.  You just can't sink long term money into a position like that, at an age like that...  Just can't do it...

Agreed about Bush, but not sold on Miller/Thomas.  I haven't seen anything out of these two yet that suggests they can be a viable every-down tandem in this league.

I think Miller can carry the load.  His yards per carry average against the Raiders was almost identical to Bush's and he didn't break a long run.

I was against getting Bush,and have been surprised but what he's done as a Dolphin....

I don't want to talk extension with Reggie tll at least week 13-14* career high 216 carries...I agree with the sentiment of 2 years max.

*Last year he started 15 games,and played in 15 games...Most since his rookie year...He's played in 56 of 96 games in the NFL,He's missed 40 career games regular season.
