I would think the Sunday sports section would be loaded with ads attracting Fin fans.

you would think...

The only place I know of that routinely supports the Dolphins (and all home teams) is Duffy's.  I think they are a sponsor of the team as well.  There's also Bokampers, which I think might be another decent option (also owned by a Fins alumni)

smaller non chain bars that have cable and 3 or 4 TVs, it will have the game on plus either golf, tennis or baseball on another channel and everyone will be locals.

I don't know any bars that carry anything but the NFL on their TVs on Sunday during football season. I can expect some will have NASCAR but I doubt many (aside from being in a clubhouse) will have any golf or tennis unless specifically asked for.

his raises a question for me since I really don't follow the sport, does MLB avoid daytime, Sunday games during football season?

Nope.  MLB has all Sunday games in the afternoon, except 1 (which is featured game of the week on Sunday night baseball).  This is from April through October.

On a side note, the Marlins lost to the Mets yesterday.  A bad day for fish-named teams from Miami playing against New York teams that end in "ets"
