Nobody is changing positions at 35 years old at the tail end of their career. He doesn't fit with Miami and what they are doing.

Yeah paying an old LB big money (which Harrison will want) to switch positions isn't going to happen.  Misi is taking over for Dansby after this upcoming year at MLB most likely so Misi is going no-place anytime soon.

You are asking a guy who has played standing up his whole career to now start playing with his hand in the dirt. That is not a transition you want to pay BIG MONEY to a BIG NAME 35 year old linebacker that you "hope" he can adjust to.  For what you will need to pay him you want a sure thing!

If its about paying big money for a OLD defensive end just pay Freeney or Abraham!

For where the franchise is currently sitting, Miami shouldn't be looking to add 35-year old players at "any" position. If they can find a young (under 30) FA that they feel is a good fit, then great...but otherwise, be frugal with your FA dollars and try to build your roster talent through the draft.

Exactly!! Throw money at quality young players to build around. Not old guys looking for one last big payday. Not to mention then force them to change positions!

Harrison isn't an everydown player, but he could be useful in third down passing situations.  And just because he may want "big money", whatever that means, doesn't mean he is going to get it.

Harrison will get big money as there are a lot of teams who are dying to add a pass rusher this offseason (Seattle, Tenn, Cleveland, SF, Atlanta, New Orleans, Indy).
