I have no problem in promoting some incompetent interim HC from the current staff, someone who can lose a couple more games while Ross/Hickey/Tennisballs/Whoever conducts a reasonable search for a non-interim HC. I also understand that The Rooney Rule makes doing things "quickly" fairly difficult, but it certainly isn't impossible. After all, there are more than a couple of unemployed black football coaches out there looking for an NFL job...

Tannenbaum fired him. I don't know if that's his boy. Granted the owner might have called the shot but Tannenbaum didn't exactly to go the mat to try and keep him either.
