I feel like this is the best week we could have had a Thursday night game. We're coming off two convincing wins and the players' confidence is at an all-time high. Usually when you're playing this well you want to get right back on the field.

Also, even though it may not matter, I feel like the more time you give a coach like Belichick a chance to game plan the better the Patriots will be. Might have a better chance to hang with the Pats coming off a short week.

I don't know if we are going to win, but I do agree that this is best from a time aspect.  Two big wins, high on motivation, rested a lot of starters in the last game, short week for them to plan.

Two sides of the same coin, yeah the hoodie has less time to prepare.  But the hoodie is a bit more experienced at knowing how to shorten a week of practice and still be ready (what to cut out of a week long practice/what to keep) than the soup.

All of these guys have been in the NFL so they know what to expect on a short week. In the past BB has benefited from all the cheat tapes he already completed but he hasn't done near as well when facing the unknown. Last year's new Lazor offense in the opening game killed him as did the wildcat.  In this instance Miami has tweaked a few things along with playing with more passion. While not entirely new there is hope that he isn't as familiar with stopping them as he would have been a few weeks ago.
