For a guy who isn't on the active roster he is always making headlines. First with the Tannehill practice squad comments and running to his agent and having that being leaked  and now this.

Neither the tweet nor the player will have any impact on the game

I saw this yesterday when Gronk was asked about it. Seemed pretty stupid to even bring up but I guess they were hoping Gronk would say something dumb. Belichick has his guys well trained in this department.

On a similar note ... has Belichick ever not given the other team props before playing them? I've seen some DolFans getting excited over what he said to media yesterday but he always does that.

Oldest coaching trick in the book. #1 Ohio St could be playing Maine and Urban Meyer will sit there with a straight face and tell you they watched the tape and Maine does a lot of good things and has some outstanding athletes. They are dangerous and even though they are 0-4 they have been in every game a couple bad breaks have cost them wins (even though they lost every game by 3 TD's).  Just heap praise on your opponent and nothing but praise. Then go out and beat them 66-3.
