Matt Moore has a broken nose and a black eye. Got it in "practice" last week. Might be part of the reason they didn't take Tannehill out sooner

He got it from an elbow to the face. As physical as they are being I'd still be very surprised if they are allowing them to hit the QBs. It must have been a complete accident.

It doesn't matter what position you play...if you owe Ndamukong Suh money, you pay up.

Pure speculation but I bet that hitting the backup qb in practice is not as big of a no no as hitting the starting qb.  After all most of the time Moore is throwing the ball you are practicing the defense.

^^^ That is like saying taking one piece of candy without paying for it is not as bad as taking an entire bag of candy. Both are still wrong.

^^^ No that's like saying, "Hey practice squad guys and back ups  the starting QB is more important than you so DON'T hit him!  But starting defense, YOU getting quality reps and playing with intensity are more important than bubble wrapping a JAG that we don't expect to ever see the field."

QB is not a regular JAG. You don't hit either one.

Turns out it was an offensive player, not an over eager defensive one.

Like I said ... "It must have been a complete accident".  I couldn't see them hitting any of their QBs ... ever.
