In case any of you are interested, I started a movie club at work, but you are all free to join, as well, if you want to be part of the conversation.
The idea is that movie club has one month stretches where there is a single genre. Within that genre will be four, one-week themes. I ask that you watch at least one movie from each weekly list that you haven't already seen, by Wednesday, when then next list comes out. If you participate, you'll have seen 4 different types of movies, spanning a genre and will be able to compare and contrast a little bit. Also, by making it a movie you haven't seen, odds are you'll have to come out of your comfort zone a little.

This week's theme: Time Travel

Timecrimes
Edge of Tomorrow
It's not set in stone yet, but it looks like the following 3 weeks' themes will be: Alien Encounters, Life in Space, and Artificial Intelligence. Movie lists still being formulated.
