King of the Surf Guitar, Dick Dale, passed away over the weekend at the age of 81. I love that whole genre, and when TDMMC had the internet radio show "TDMMC Saturday Night!," Dick Dale's song "Misirlou" opened every show that Lil_B and I put together.

RIP, surf dawg...hope you're catching some hellacious waves in Heaven!

Sad news when someone dies. I didn’t know who this guy was until I played some of his music earlier. I had one of those “so that’s who that is” moments. Guy was a pioneer.
