I don't think the Bengals would trade up unless they were taking Sewell themselves. I can see us trading back with them, but only to still be able to draft Jamaar Chase while acquiring an extra 2nd rounder or something.
That's the idea, if Sewell is available Cincy might give up a lot to get him.

Yeah, but the initial trade proposal was that we ended up with Sewell anyway and I don't see that happening unless we draft him at 3. We can trade down to 5 with Cincy no problem, they desperately need OL help. Just a matter of the price and who do we want at 5?

I wasn't really thrilled with Gailey, but this will be our 3rd OC in 3 seasons. This is how you screw up young players, especially QBs. We better nail it this time and have him get to work with Tua immediately.

I read it is 5 in 5 years but haven't researched. We had to know Gailey wouldn't be around long anyway. Better to move on now than waste next season just to have him leave.

Maybe 4 in 5 years? Chan in 2020, Shea in 2019, I already forget in 2018. Did the 2018 guy have 3 years? Probably not.

Trade down from 5 again and we net a boatload of picks.

We can do that, but we just went 10-6 and windows aren't open in the NFL forever. Adding talent like Senell and or Chase makes us a contender in 2021. The future is now, we should use all of our first 4 picks on players and try to win it all. If we want to trade up and grab an even better player, then I am for that as well but this is the time to go for it.

Trade down to 5, Sewell will be gone, but Chase and Smith will be available.

That's one of the main options right now. Do we take Sewell and drastically improve our O-Line or do we trade down to 5, net an extra high 2nd rounder form the Bengals(I think that's fair) and drastically improve our WR corps. It's a very tough call, we can't lose but we can't get both of what we want either. I don't think there is a wrong answer but damn do our receivers suck.
