The only time I had official breaks was when I worked as a laborer for Disney and it was union. This meant we got 2 fifteen minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch. The times started when we got to where ever we were taking the break so a 15 minute break turned into 40 minutes and the half hour lunch was at least an hour or more depending on how long the lunch lines were. It was crazy but that's how they did it.
CF, I know you're a conservative and probably pro-business. But surely you have to realize that in a non-union environment, in the absence of that time allotment, it means that
you can't take a 15-minute break and
you don't have enough time to make it through the lunch line, right?
I mean, if it takes you 10-15 minutes
just to get to the designated break area, who should sacrifice that time... labor or management?
