Nothing will happen to these cops.  But if we were a civilized country that actually believed in accountability and law and order these cops would spend time in jail for felony assault and kidnapping.

I was in high school band and we were some of the most bad-ass motherfuckers you'd ever meet, so I understand why you'd jump to use force pretty early.  You wouldn't want one of us to fly off the handle and then you'd really have yourself a problem.

There's no doubt the officers overstepped their bounds by telling the band to quit playing.   

The big question is, did the band director get physically violent with the arresting officer when he was told he was being arrested?

In a just world, it doesn’t really matter what the band director did.  Once the thugs began the confrontation the band director was within his rights to use any method of self defense necessary.

I just watched the body cam footage.  The cops should be in jail.
