Wilson's contract expires at the end of the season.  Assuming Tua is not part of the plan that only left Quinn.  This is a low cost (I assume the guarantee money was in the tens of thousands not tens of millions.) way to bring him in.  If they did not sign him off the practice squad LV would probably signed him to their training camp a the end of the season. 

The biggest positive for the Dolphins is that despite not have a GM the team has been making some very strategic long term moves after being eliminated from playoff contention.

You know what? Start the training camp right now? Why not right now?

The ultimate reality show? Who wants to be the starting QB for the Fins at the cheapest price... and then film it and sell it to fund it? Gotta work, right?
