Premise: Based on the "unofficial autobiography" of Chuck Barris, the creator of such trashy TV shows like the Gong Show (which he also hosted) and Dating game, where Chuck pines over premises with studio execs, while simultaneously working as an assasin for the CIA.

Rating: Good

This is an interesting story, because it's a "true story", with an unreliable narrarator.  Chuck Barris did exist.  He did host those shows, and he did disappear for weeks at a time.  His friends (and the viewer) don't really know for sure whether his segments about his secret role in the CIA are true, a lie, or his insanity.  Charlie Kaufman (who also wrote Eternal Sunshine, Being John Malkovich, and Adaptation) penned the screenplay, and his style shows, as you leave the movie questioning what parts of this story are legit.

I was actually really getting into this movie and found the main character really interesting. But unfortunately I had to cut out 45 min or so into it, so I will put it on the netflix list and check it out later.

This movie is weird in that it's more entertaining in thinking about it afterwards, than the actual play time.  I found it sort of slow, and was curious as to what was happening, but after it ended, looking back on it, I actually enjoy it more.

I'd never have thought of watching this movie but I'm glad I did.  I really enjoyed it.  And it gets you thinking ever after the movie.
George Clooney is in it and you that can never be a bad a thing.  Sexy bitch!
