I've been meaning to jot this for a while. Besides the fact that Anna is insanely hot, her music is really good. It's rare that you find an artist that breaks on CHR, A/C and AAA all at the same time: three vastly different formats. Anna's done that.
Oh yeah, I guess I can't say she's insanely hot and not post a picture. Here she is with my buddy Tony in Providence:

A lot of you have probably heard her song "Breath (2am)." It's been on countless television shows (including "Grey's Anatomy" this past Sunday night) and all over the radio. It's a very strong song, but not even close to the best on the CD.
Musically the CD is very tight, Anna rights most of her own stuff. Lyric-wise, the CD is amazing. At 22 years old she wites with the life experience of Sarah McLachlan or Lisa Loeb, all while not boring the hell out of you. "Paper Bag", "Citadel", "In the Rough", and "Bleed" are my favorite album cuts on the way.
Anna's on tour right now with Rob Thomas (making a stop in Portland next month...yay). I'm stoked to see her live again. She's done a couple things acoustically in our office in the past, it's going to be cool to see her with a full band.
CD rating: A.
