Well, I'm not a big movie review guy,but I thought I'd throw one out there...

Premise: People are kidnapped, and forced to faceƂ  life or death tasks..Kind of like when a parent tries to get a kid to stop smoking cigarettes by making them smoke a whole carton in one day. They either pass the test/game, or die trying.

My Take....
The first one was really cool, bizzare, and had a great twist ending. The first one focused on who was the Jigsaw. This movie, explains who,and why the Jigsaw does what he does.It still had the life or death tests, but not in the same way.Which sort of made it less out there bizzare, and more like a normal who done it,against the clock type of movie.I was really hoping for more of what I got in the first movie, what I got was a back story to set up,and make a third movie.

Starring,
Donnie Wahlberg - Shawnee Smith -Tobin Bell -Franky G - Glenn Plummer - Dina Meyer

Overall I'd give it a C...It's ok,it's worth a rent, maybe not one i have to have in my movie collection.

I love both Saw and Saw II.  Nothing makes a movie better than a twisted ending.  When i saw Saw (haha) I never knew what was coming at the end.  When I watched Saw II I was waiting for it, you know trying to guess what would happen before the end.  The ending still totally blew me away, I never would have guessed what happened.  And finally, I love how they set it up for Saw III, there is nothing I love more than a good trilogy!

I never saw the first SAW.  I've heard very mixed reviews.  Some people say it's like Se7en (which is one of my favorite films), and others say that it's one of the worst movies they've seen.

The last movie that I heard was "like Se7eN" was "Fallen" with Denzel Washinton....I gave that 3 stars out of 5.

I was watching Saw 1 and trying to eat dinner at the same time. Needless to say i never finished my dinner, or the movie.

Can't blame you there. I can handle gore, I love action flicks, but torture gives me the creeps.  Loved Reservoir Dogs, but I hate the scene where Mr. Blonde is torturing the cop while dancing to "Stuck in the Middle With You" (I think).  Movies that hinge on torture as their premise...can't watch 'em.  I had to step out during Texas Chainsaw Massacre when Leatherface is messing with the kid whose leg he lopped off with the chainsaw.  Couldn't deal.
