Clearly we all know that i am a comic book geek. Everyone also knows that i'm really only 12yrs old and deeply affected by the what 'Marvel' decides to do with their flagship characters.
I previously ranted about Spiderman and the changes with him. I said i was done giving Marvel chances, that changing him was the last straw. But wait.....something has come to my attention, and while it doesnt heal all my wounds created by this company over the years, I have decided to give them one last chance for redemption. Please read:
"Buried in Marvel's solicitations for May 2006 was Fantastic Four: A Death in the Family, a one-shot promising to kill off Sue Richards. Here's the solicitation in full:

Marvel Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada was asked whether the issue would live up to its billing. Would Sue Richards really die? Will Johnny Storm be successful in resurrecting her?
In response, Quesada said that she would die and stay dead. He also added that another member of the Fantastic Four would also die and would also stay dead. Here's Quesada's response in full:
Karl Kesel has created one of the best told in one FF stories in a very long time, and yes, unfortunately, there will be a death in the FF family and it is all in continuity. But here's some Joe Fridays breaking news that the solicits don't tell ya, and remember, you heard it here first: two of the FF die, not just one. Gone, goodbye, nevermore. By the way, let me state this clearly for the record. This story is not a Civil War tie-in!
WOW.. i am really big on a great story with a good guy dying in the end. It 'keeps it real'. One thing Marvel has taught me is that they are a bunch of liars. But they did have my loyalty for so many years, and for that i will grant them this chance. Don't get me wrong, its not that i dont like the FF, I just think killing members of a super hero family as big as the FF, well, that takes some balls. Let's see what Marvels got.
