Thanks for the kind words everyone.   Yes, I did all the work myself.  And since I'm hardly a carpenter, it was a little tricky, but not too bad.  I just bought some crown moulding and a baseboard and painted them orange and installed them.  Note to anyone who thinks about doing their own crown moulding, it would be MUCH easier if you spend the money on a mitre saw.  I didn't do that and in retrospect, I wish I had because getting the crown moulding pieces to fit together properly was really hard without the proper tools.  Glidden makes the Dolphin paint colors so I got those mixed up.  Did the crown moulding and baseboard in orange and then installed those.  Took 3 coats for the aqua to cover the previous white walls so I should have primed it first and saved myself some work.  Mrs. Dol-Phan was kind enough to buy the Dolphin helmet fathead (they are way overpriced but I'm glad we spent the money because it looks really cool) and the street sign.  All in all, it was a lot of fun to do.  If anyone is interested in doing something similar, let me know and I'll share some more detailed tips and some things to think about when coming up with the design.  I thought it looked pretty cool when I was done, but it definitely means a lot to hear everyone agreeing that they like it.

That does look great Dol-Phan. Good job! And as someone who has done crown moulding I can attest to this- even with the good level of carpentry skills I possess, its still a bitch to do!

Dol-Phan, think you could install a Plasma TV in your garage?  I can see some serious BBQ's happening there.

Funny that you should say that, Tommy.  One of the first things that I said to the wife when I finished was, "All I need is a 50" plasma and a refrigerator out here and I'd never come back into the house again."

The back yard is big enough for a great barbecue though so if any of the board folks find themselves in Dallas, let me know and we'll have ya over.
