I made contact with several of the larger Rams chatboards, and expect that we'll have a guest on the show this Saturday to give us some insight into this week's opponent. Hopefully it will be David over at Clan Ram...I went through some of the threads there yesterday, and this guy reeeeally seems to know his Rams.

This is something I think I am going to try to do the rest of the season as a built-in segment...get a knowledgeable moderator from one of the opponent's fan sites and have him break his own team down for us. We'll see how that works...

What is there to say about the Rams exepct that they are quite possibly the worst team in the NFL?

Hopefully about 29 and a half minutes worth...

Being bad doesn't make for less to talk about...it just makes for more depressing things to talk about. Or humorous things, if the pain belongs to some other team. You'd have to think that we could spend a few minutes commisserating on Linehan, right? Trent Green is back there...we can share concussion forecasts or something. We'll probably talk about the factors that contributed to the Rams' issues this year, and what areas they're looking to improve in FA and the draft this upcoming offseason, etc...

There is their problem : they draft horribly and the "fans" have been calling for Linehan's head for a year.  Man, the game Sunday should be fun.  I have a lot of payback to dish out.  Maybe I'll actually call in.  Evil

Good stuff... David Spalter from Clan Ram (www.ClanRam.com) has confirmed that he will be joining us on Saturday night for the show. Tune in early, as he'll probably be in the first segment.

With the 49ers being this week's opponent, I'll be talking about some of my favorite 49ers memories on tonight's show. Since one of those joyful memories is the 49ers dominant victory in Super Bowl XIX, I hope to get at least one angry caller tonight. Grin

Crossing our fingers that Miami makes it into the playoffs, or else tonight's show will be the final TDMMC Saturday Night!! show of the season. That said, we're already planning on there being a show next week, as Miami is going to kick the Jets asses tomorrow.

Call in tonight and join the Jets-bashing merriment. Fabulous and expensive prizes for the caller with the best Jets fan joke...

I sent an email to the FinsRadio group as well. No idea what happened to the switchboard, but since none of the blogtalkradio.com pages were loading either, I am pretty certain the problem was on their end, and not ours. Grin
