I was wondering that also, but I don't think it is. I only think its tampering if you talk about wanting a player under contract to another team or talk about things like "I wish he was on our team".

Not many comments on what Mangini said, so let me say that I thought it was pretty damn funny.  Particularly when you watch the video of it and the expression (or lack there of) on his face.  

I hope Jason sees it and realizes how rediculous this whole thing is.

I am not sure if even saying you would want him on your team be tampering. I have heard coaches talk about how good players are on the opposing team and even say they wouldn't mind having said player on their team. 

If EM was to call up Taylor and say, "if you get cut you have a job with the Jets"  that would be tampering.
