Easy guess.  The Dolphins didn't exist in 1960.

Nor did the New England Patriots.

"A grasshopper walks into a bar.  Bartender says, 'we have a drink named after you.'  The grasshopper responds, 'you have a drink called Murry'"  is a joke.

The Dolphins are a football team that loses a lot of games.  -- RECENTLY

1 a: something said or done to provoke laughter; especially : a brief oral narrative with a climactic humorous twist b (1): the humorous or ridiculous element in something (2): an instance of jesting : kidding <can't take a joke> c: practical joke d: laughingstock
2: something not to be taken seriously : a trifling matter <consider his skiing a joke — Harold Callender> —often used in negative constructions <it is no joke to be lost in the desert>

Not an attack but a correction.......

I don't get it.  I am saying the Dolphins are NOT a joke, and I am being attacked.  Okay, I give up, the Dolphins are a joke!  Are you happy now?

Nor did the New England Patriots.

366 349 9 (1960–2007, includes only regular season)

362 242 4 (1966–2007, includes only regular season)

Guess which record belongs to the Patriots and which one belongs to the Dolphins.

I win!  Cheesy

My hopes are that Jayson Tylors future is sacking QB's for the Miami Dolphins, I have been saddened by his recent acts, but I still respect him and want him on the team.

I am saddened by the comments of Parcells and Sparano, insinuating that they don't want Jason Taylor on the team, but not trading him, either.  Jason could be pulling a Chad Johnson right now, but he is keeping quiet.

That statement could be taken two ways.  I too hope Jason future job involves sacking QB for the Miami Dolphins.  Two games a year him sacking the QB who plays for the Dolphins...... Evil

Exactly. That is why you and Cowgirl wish the Tuna would have gave him away for a 3rd or 4th rounder. Won't happen. If we have to face the guy its gonna be worth it to us. If not its a safer bet seeing him ride a couch somewhere else then taking the gamble on a 3-4th round hit.

Although I would love for the Pats to get him for a late round draft pick, I have never said that would be a wise move for the team.  If he is not going to play for the Dolphins BP ought get something for him with a trade to a non-AFCE team -- Dallas, Giants, Chargers.  Miami won't  face Dallas or the Giant for three years, and with the Chargers most likely once in three years.

If you own a $1,000,000 home and people offered you  $1000 for it do you take it since theres no better offers ? I would keep it.
Jayson Tylor is worth more then a 3rd or 4th rounder, if you don't want to offer anything to equal his value it is better to just hold onto his contract.

But what if you're locked out of that home indefinetely.  And the roof is beginning to cave in.

Better analogy

You have two tickets to a game you can't attend. The face value on the tickets are $100.  Best offer you get is $60.  Do you take it?
