Fins: Camp hopes

One thing struck me at the start of training camp last summer:

The buzz was missing.

The crowd was smaller than those I remembered for the first day of Jimmy Johnson's first camp, the first day of Nick Saban's first camp, even the first day of Dave Wannstedt's first camp.

Maybe the fans knew what was coming.

This year, the short-term expectations are muted, but the long-term hopes are high.

The franchise has no face on the field, after the departures of Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor. There's no high-priced addition, as in previous years.

So I'll be curious to see what the scene is like Saturday.

What are your top three hopes for this training camp?

My top 3 hopes are:

1.  Chad Henne shows signs that he can be a star QB in this league.

2.  The defense adapts quickly to the 3-4 scheme

3. No major injuries.
