Just a question i want to ask.

Should the goal be a certain amount of wins and what should that be. Or should that goal be something else, like maybe having a certain number of players performing well, or maybe a offensive or defensive goal. Discuss.

There is only one goal for a NFL team -- a Lombardi.

To win. Or at least create a winning attitude. Winning creates confidence, and I believe that confidence will create a unity and an ambition amongst the team. This mentality of "just trying to be competitive" and using a season to "develop" players really bothers me, and I think its become the norm. The feeling of 5-6 wins being a successful season, wtf. Is it reality? Sure. But c'mon! We need to get some stability going 'cause I'm getting sick of "rebuilding". I hope Miami can do the equivalent in the NFL as the Marlins have this season. Surprise the hell outta everyone with a no-name team.

I'm sick of living in the sellar. It just doesn't seem right, I feel ya Cardinals and Lions fans...    Cry

This season, just to see some improvement.

I think one of the biggest goals is getting all of our young guys plenty of opportunities to prove themselves out on the field and too see what the Dolphins have going forward.  The more young guns that prove themselves from the 2005, 2006, and to a lesser extent the 2007 Draft, the easier this rebuilding job will be.

EVERY game should be a mindset to win. EVERY season should be looking at the playoffs and beyond.  The second you accept losing and settle , its 1-15 time again.

Goal for the team?   To gel as a team & build a solid foundation for the near future.

Cut down on penalties & play smart football.

Their goal - Super Bowl (It has to be)

My goal for them - Second in the division (I can't see anything more optomistic than that and still consider myself sane)
