I'll go out on a limb here and give my Game Ball to Jason Allen.  Multiple picks tonight.  I guess being demoted to second string motivated him to play hard.  He has been a pleasant surprise all training camp.

Honorable mention to Jalen Parmele for some pretty tough running on the drive that iced the game.

I didn't get to see the whole game. Did Allen have two picks? CBS Sportsline only has him with one.
Also, if you read Sparano's remarks, they didn't move Allen to second team because of his play. They wanted to see more of what Crocker could do, since he had been playing against the opposition's 3rd and 4th stringers. Its was kind of hard to gauge Crocker's level of play.

I'll give mine to CB Michael Lehan.  He's had a rough offseason, so it's nice too see him getting in on the action and getting an INT.

yeah tommy, c'mon get your facts straight. allen is the starter, but they wanted to see how good crocker was.

that being said, TONY SPARANO.

the team finally played a complete game in all aspects, and this team was clearly well prepared.

honorables to ginn and parmele.

I am going to go against the defensive grain and say Ted Ginn Jr.

That's what Sparano SAID...... but apparently Allen had not been performing as well in practice this week.  We don't know for sure, but I'm willing to go with my gut feeling, as that's what Sparano has done previously.

I thought Phillip Merling(97) looked good tonight, also. He showed a strong inside presence stuffing the run and pressuring the QB.

the whole entire defensive front seven

they snuffed larry johnson and had croyle running for his life all night

They have a a whole bunch of LB/DE hybrids... The only way to really run on this team is to use speed at angles cause they aren't too fast.

I give the whole team a game ball. Its been a looong time since us fans have had so much fun watching them play. We have hope, and now I can look forward to the future.

Thank you Parcells, thank you!
