I'll give my Shame of the Game to Wilfred Billingsley.  Got toasted again tonight, just like last week in the 4th quarter against Jacksonville, and also gets called for a stupid penalty that wiped out Davone Bess's punt return.

Honorable Mention goes to John Beck.  Both his drives end in turnovers.  Although one, and possibly both were not his fault, you have to wonder why they happen almost every time he lines up behind center.    He's clearly not a good fit for this team and needs to be given his walking papers immediately.

My shame of the game again goes to the fact that this is preseason and none of the counts.

This sucks

The same goes to Justin Peele. He bobbled a catch in the endzone, commited a huge penalty when Miami recovered a fumble recovery. It was a really bad night for him.
Also all those penalties is a shame.

Tommy, you are blind to think John Beck was responsible for either of those turnovers.  I expect your retraction of the honorable mention immediately.  All Beck did was hand the ball off all night.

Is it really necessary to have a shame of the game after winning 24-0?

I wouldn't blame Beck for the fumble at the line of scrimmage, if it wasn't such a common occurrence.  He didn't do a very good job of catching a low snap, nor falling on it.  It wasn't his fault, per se, but he sure doesn't seem to handle adversity very well.  I suppose it's just bad luck, but sometimes you have to make your own luck.

The snap bounced to the left before he could even move forward for it Dave. It was an awful snap - that fumbles belongs to the center.

Yes, when it is a preseason game.  That itself is a fucking shame

^ I agree.  It was to the left and low.

The snap was terrible, and ultimately, the fumble belongs to the center.  But when you're constantly having bad luck, it makes me wonder.  Even though the snap was bad, it still hit his hands, and even though the fumble isn't his fault, he didn't fall on the ball to recover it.

He just doesn't make the best of situations, good or bad.  And this is going way back into last season.  I'm not just talking about this one play.

Not from what I saw on TV.   I thought that the snap was low, but still hit his hand.

Apparently, an application on a site I use to order photos makes my text on message boards go backwards....
