The dolphins would be lucky to get a 7th, maybe a conditional pick that could reach a bit higher if Beck takes a certain number of snaps/starts. I can't see his trade value as being much of anything, even to a team desperate for a QB like the Ravens.

Spielman is with the Minnesota Vikings.  I'd give him a call, as they have QB issues too.

We'll be lucky to get anything higher than a 6th unless we're dealing with a really stupid GM.

Does anyone else notice the irony on this thread that the people who are the most vocal that Beck should be cut are now hoping we can get something for him?  If the Dolphins are going to cut him, then why give up anything for him?  Just wait for him to be cut.

Irony? We gave up a second rounder for him. It would be nice to get something for him ............any value in return.

If you plan to cut a guy, and then it turns out you can get something for him, you take what you can get.

I hate to bring him up, but Saban didn't agree with that. Remember Lamar Gordon? Saban was trying to dangle him for trade. The Eagles offered him a 6th. He wanted a 4th. They said nope. Saban cut him a week later and the Eagles signed him for nothing.

You're right about Saban... but Parcells has a totally different mentality.

If its the Ravens, I demand more.  Two reasons:

- Their OC has a man-crush on John Beck
- They just lost Kyle Boller for the year.

The Ravens should be willing to pony up for him.
