I would love to have him on the Dolphins, but why would he want to play here?

He grew up in Palm beach. He attended college in Florida.  My guess is all his family and friends are in Florida.

It is not unusual for folks to transfer jobs so they can live near their families.  Some people outside the sports world even will take a pay cut to do it.

I know he is from SF.  I guess he thinks the Dolphins are improving and wants to be near his family.  The question is, would the Dolphins pay the price to get him?

considering TO and moss were had for less than 1st round picks, it would be a no-brainer to trade for him if it costs us only a 2nd rounder.  hell, he's definitely worth at least a first right now anyways.

I say no,For this reason..He'll be what 29 next year...I'd rather Draft a young buck, rather than pay some WR big bucks...That way He can grow With our Young buck Qb Chad Henne....

Boldin wants to get paid.  That's all.  Its not that he wants to play for Miami, he just knows the Cards are not going to give him a new deal & another team would.

I'll take him as a FA, but not to trade for.

How many of us would pull the trigger trading Ginn and another player for him? Before some people get all upset this is not a let's trade Ginn post. I am just curious who would jump all over it.

I think it would be premature to trade Ginn, especially trading 2 for 1.  Although I wouldn't mind seeing him on the team, he is a risk, due to age and previous injury.

As stupid as Bill Bidwell is, he's not stupid enough to let Boldin go for an unproven guy who could very well end up being a bust.

I wouldn't trade Ginn for Boldin.  Nope.  I would deal them a draft pick, sure.  Boldin, even at his age, is better than any bum college WR we can draft in the 3rd round of 2009.  He's still for 4 or 5 good years in him and would be an instant upgrade.

Consider this - we get a WR like Boldin on this team, it opens up the field for Ginn to shut all you Can haters up for good.

Could it happen? I mean we dealt Chambers to the Chargers in week 5.

It could.  But Arizona has reiterated that they will not trade Boldin.  He's signed thru 2010.  Now they might change their stance if he holds out.

2nd or 3rd round pick this year and a conditional pick the next year....I would love to have a guy like him on our team.
