I'll give it to Bess as well.  Coming off a San Diego touchdown that pulled them to within one score, you can't be stupid on a kickoff return and not protect the ball.  He was swinging that thing back and forth.... he was asking to have it stripped.

Honorable mention to Andre Goodman for giving up that long pass to Vincent Jackson that led to San Diego's lone TD.

I'll do this for Jtex:

Shame of the game goes to all the Dolphins fans for getting excited after back to back wins over playoff/Super Bowl contenders. Don't you people know that you should all be wearing bags over your heads?  Hell..You guys were 1-15 last year. You have only won 3 games in the last 2 years. Get over yourself, and while you're at it, hang yourself too. You have absolutely nothing to live for. The very thought that you idiots can even crack a smile right now is pathetic!

I thought Jtex shut his mouth about the Dolphins for good after that shellacking of the Pats two weeks ago.  I didn't realize that he had stolen Frimp's password.

No SOG what so ever.  Minor mistakes happen in games.  Miami has gone back to back in weeks against the two teams that played in the AFC title game.

Game balls around around.

Goodman yet again gets my SOG

Bess wasn't that far behind

Crocker would have gotten it if Jackson would have caught that long pass

As much as I want to like the guy, Bess was not very impressive.

Dan Carpenter is my shame.  He missed a very makeable kick that would've put the game away.  3 scores is too much to come back from, and it would've allowed us to start our run pounding earlier than we did.  Everything started falling apart at that moment.

I'm really glad to see us hold on, because I don't think our teams of the past would've.  We have not had the ability to put games away, and it's nice to see us do it today (even if it happened about a quarter later than it should've.)

Everyone is allowed a bad game. He didn't even have a bad game. He just had a TERRIBLE last 3 minutes.

Sage had a stupid last three minutes.  The way he went for that run and got the helicopter tackle put on him was unforgivable.  All they had to do was sit on the ball.

I was thinking Goodman all morning, but Dave is right. Carpenter could have sealed the game.

A few people deserve it, including Carpenter and Goodman, but the biggest avoidable mistake was Davone Bess.  You HAVE to protect the ball - especially after a big momentum swing like that.  The defense bailed him out on 4th and goal.
