2011 NFC East Champions!

« on: October 13, 2008, 08:27:52 pm »

Holy shit! In just the last 5 days:

Tony Romo - Out 4 weeks (finger)
Sam Hurd - Out for the season (ankle)
Matt McBriar - Out for the season (foot)
Felix Jones - Out for 2-4 weeks (partially torn hamstring)
Adam Jones - In hot water (hotel, drinking incident)

There's also Roy Williams who is out, and the fact that they play in the NFCe, and the fact that their back-up QB is old-ass Brad Johnson = a lot of drama from big D.

...and who knows how much crying T.O. will do throughout.

I've been saying this since before the season started...they have no depth and aren't going to be as good as everyone said they were going to be...now they have a few injuries and look what happens....I, personally, find this hilarious...I cannot stand the Cowboys

As a Niners fan, my hate for the Dallas Cowboys is several decades in the making. I still think they have a ton of talent even with their current troubles, but anything that brings them down a peg or two is golden in my book.

I'd love to hear GoCowboys take on this.

My take is this team needs some adversity to hit them.  They've been winning ugly and that sometimes can gives players a false since of security. They haven't played up to expectations, especially that defense.  They had it to easy last year. No injuries, blowing most teams away and really not challenged for most of the season. We'll see what type of character and toughness they have.

As far as injuries.....None of these are season ending. If we go 2-1 going into the bye week everyone should be back for the following game.

ST. LOUIS -- Dallas Cowboys safety Roy Williams broke his right forearm for the second time Sunday in his first game back from the previous injury, and owner Jerry Jones said he'd miss the remainder of the season...

^ It's not cool to laugh over an injury, even if you don't like the guy or his team.

And to think a bunch of the papers are predicting they're gonna beat Tampa...... Tampa's got two tough runners that can pound it out in Earnest Graham and Warrick Dunn.

Tampa wins in a walkover.
