Ginn is the #2 WR on this team.  Pennington has not been throwing to WR's not named Camarillo.  wanna know why?  Camarillo always runs the short route.  Ginn runs the deep route.

Camarillo, thru 5 games, leads all WR's with 21 catches for 263 yards.  That's 4 a game for 50 yards.  Stellar.

I wish, just once, you would be objective with an open mind and not just look for reasons to hate.  You can't hate a guy because he's NOT making good plays.  You CAN hate him for making BAD plays, and Ginn is not that guy.

I didn't know that Ginn actually ran routes.  I thought he only tried but failed to get off the LOS.

If Chad Henne was in, Ginn would be getting the ball more.  Penny cant throw the deep ball that why Ginn is M.I.A.   In order for any receiver to do something with penny Miami need to run dat bullshit West coast crap.

Thats actually a really good point. But he could go over the middle just once a game if he wasn't such a pussie.

I understand what you guys are saying - i really do.  I wish the guy would produce more.

BUT - you can't hate him for it.  He can't throw himself the ball.  He can only run his route.  You all say "he runs bad routes and can't get open," but you don't know that.  You ASSUME that based on the fact that he's not getting the ball.

And, if he goes in the huddle and says "Just give me the damn ball," you will all say he's a cancer.

You can't keep hating on Ginn because of where he was picked.  He didn't ask to be picked that high.  If the Dolphins had a pick around #20, they would have taken him there, then would you still hate him?

All I'm saying is that you guys are all hating on the guy for stuff that he has no control over, and you're all still having wet dreams about Brady Quinn and what could have been, and that's wrong.  Its been 2 years.  Show the guy some support on the field  He will improve.  He's going to be here for the next 3 years, and this forum is going to be miserable if your crew keeps this up for the next three years.

I dont hate on Ginn, I think he actually one of the good receivers on the squad. He has great hands and speed.  I do want him to get the ball more but  Camarillo  and Fasano are stealing the light from him due to Penny's  inability to  throw no more than 10+ yrds lol.  To be honest , I am disappointed with Miami's receiving corps.

I'll man up to some of that. (The Brady Quinn thing will take a while to pass).  But I disagree when you say its not up to him.  He doesn't get the damn ball becuase no one wants to throw it to him. Are you saying Penny is holding back for another reason other then he doesn't trust the guy with a pass? He doesn't do punt returns anymore either becuase he couldn't do that either.........and he has the damn ball everytime!

Just being the most expensive reciever on the team does not make him our #1 reciever on the Team.  Wink

It's generally accepted that a WR needs two seasons of learning before breaking onto the scene in his third, i suspect that is lengthened by having the talentless team we had last season and Penningtons arm this season.

You can't hate on a guy who doesn't catch a ball he isn't thrown, I don't see you calling out Chad Henne for his lack of production.  Hell, Ginn isn't catching the balls Henne isn't throwing to him....CUT THEM BOTH!!!!

If Ginn was dropping passes I could understand the hate, or talking himself up.....but he's not, he's just making the best of what he's given.

For all I know, Ginn may suck.

The problem is, there's no way I can know by watching games on the TV, 'cause they're not showing receivers downfield. I'd love to see how the receivers are running routes and what the cornerbacks and safeties are doing, but the cameras are so focused on showing the quarterback drop back that we very, very rarely see anything else.

Maybe if I could go to some of the games, I would be able to get a better impression, but from watching the games on TV, there's just no way I can reasonably make ANY assumptions about ANY receiver running a deep route (and not getting the ball). And, honestly, I just don't get how "you guys" can know these things. It seems to me like you're just pulling shit out of your ass. Most of the time, we don't even see the receiver on the snap and the zoom and pan on the quarterback is so fast, any jamming of the receivers at the line of scrimmage is something you see in replays from different angles (if you're lucky).

^^ Do you think Ginn is a pussy???  He always ducks out of bounds to avoid taking a hit instead of fighting for YAC.
