''He was an effective coach down in Miami last year, even though the results weren't what people were hoping for,'' Harbaugh said on the portion of the clip played for Holliday. ``He did a great job there with what he had to work with.''

A "great job" eh?  If Cam did a great job, then I'm the king of Saudi Arabia.

Ok, you may flame away on this post...
I get amazed at the Cameron haters, that seem to Give Mueller a free pass, for the things that happened last year....Being he was hand picked By Nick Saban, and our roster has been truned over significantly....

Mueller never had final decision making authority in terms of player personnel.

Really where did you get that? Because after Saban Left he had full authority.....He also had Major influence on who the next head coach was...

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2007/12/31/sports/s092648S39.DTL&feed=rss.sports

from the article...
Mueller was general manager for three seasons but in charge of personnel decisions only since coach Nick Saban left a year ago. He received mixed reviews for his moves in 2007, which included the acquisition of free-agent linebacker Joey Porter and the selection of receiver Ted Ginn Jr. and quarterback John Beck in the draft.

^^^

If I recall correctly, the deal was if Cameron and Mueller had a disagreement,  Brian Weidmeyer would make the final decision.
