The Brady Quinn era is finally here

The group of folks who hate Quinn because of how annoyed they get over the Ginn-haters (and you know who you are) should take a second, establish a good grip on both ears, and firmly pull your heads out of your asses, because you are doing nothing but perpetuating the same sort of lameness that the hard right Ginn-haters are spewing...

Both groups are wrong, and both groups define the term "message board annoyance"

I would say the same about Ted Ginn Jr with certain members on this board.

And it would have nothing to do with Brady Quinn, so thank you very much for yet another distracting "whole lot of nothing" BS commentary.

Whoa toughguy....in case you do not realize it, this is around the NFL...Brady Quinn is part of the NFL... whether you like it or not Quinn/Ginn WILL be linked together their entire careers so get used to it and stop your whining and crying about other peoples opinions. 

  I may not be a Rhoades Scholar or a member of MENSA, but I do realize that this is the "Around the NFL" forum, and yes Brady Quinn is a member of the NFL.  That being said, you can talk about Brady Quinn all you want.  Hell, you can have a Brady Quinn Appreciation Thread for all I care.  The only thing is this is it really necessary to bring up the name of Ted Ginn Jr. every single time in a conversation about Quinn?  You say that they will be linked together for their entire careers?  The only reason that is because, you and the rest of your contingent refuse to let go of the past.  Ginn is a WR, Quinn is a QB.  Ginn was drafted 9th overall, Quinn was drafted 22nd overall.  The men that selected Ginn are long gone.  One is the Offensive Coordinator in Baltimore, the other is an assistant to A.J. Smith in San Diego.  The men who selected Brady Quinn in Cleveland are still in charge.  Their careers are linked again, how?  If this was a debate about Manning vs. Leaf, I could understand how their careers are linked.

  In conclusion, you want to talk about and extoll the virtues of Brady Quinn, fine.  Be my guest.  However, some of us would appreciate it if you would leave a player out of that conversation, that has no business being in that conversation.  Thank You, and have a nice day.

  When does it end?  Because, I've just about had it with some of you.  For Christsakes this has whole Quinn/Ginn/Cameron thing has just gotten beyond ridiculous.  Miami Dolphins drafted Ted Ginn Jr. with the 9th overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft.  Get over it.  Cam Cameron and Randy Mueller are both gone.  Get over it. The Dolphins decided to pass on Brady Quinn, and Brady Quinn is now a Cleveland Brown.  GET OVER IT!!!  When does this silliness end?  Look, there are a lot of things that Miami should've different over the course of history with this franchise, but what's done is done.  You can't change it.

Having to deal with a 1-15 season and a coach that doesn't know his own anal orafice from a hole in the wall and being laughed at constantly by fans of other teams is not something to get over very easily. 

Cam Cameron really screwed this team up, and hopefully will be paying for it the rest of his career.

1.  If he played so great, why could he not throw a one yard completion on 3 and 1 and then again on 4th and 1 to keep the Browns alive.  Some, not me, but some would call that a crunch time choke.

Of course, because Dan Marino never missed on 3rd and 1 and Marino never lost a game. Same with Montana, Elway, Y.A. Tittle. None of them ever missed on 3rd down, and none of them ever lost a game.

I don't Hold Ginn at all linked with Quinn. We needed a QB badly at that time. Mr Offensive Genius Hand picked Beck over Quinn.   That's who I link Quinn too and we'll see how each of their careers play out.  But I'm cool with it now because finally we got somebody without his head up his ass when it comes to Football and we got 2 great Quarterbacks. I was frustrated as hell last year and I had every right to be .

1.  Kellen Winslow choked by not catching a perfectly thrown ball by Brady Quinn on 4th and 1

2.  Quinn led Cleveland to 30 points in his 1ST start in the NFL...he also had the Browns driving twice in the 4th quarter but Winslow fumbled ( in Denver territory) on one drive and a penalty negated a play that would have set the Browns up with a 1st and 10 at the Bronco's 30 midway through the 4th quarter.

Clevelands defense gave up 207 yards of passing to Jay Cutler and the Broncos in the 4th quarter alone....this loss lies on the defense for not being able to stop Denver and hold the lead they had going into the 4th quarter.

Doesn't really matter how he turns out. At that time and place in History , at the 9th overall pick in the 2007 draft, the ONLY pick for the Miami Dolphins was Brady Quinn. It was absolutely reckless to pick anyone else. Thats not Ted Ginns fault. Its not John Becks fault. But it certainly is Cam Cameron s. And he got what he deserved. A King in the ass to I95 North. The only coach in Miami Dolphin history that didn't get a second chance. He was THAT bad.

Me too...and this isn't a snap judgement based on his first NFL start, I've been "waiting and seeing" since he got to Notre Dame, and there hasn't been anything in all that time that has shaken my "Brady Quinn will be an outstanding NFL QB" opinion.
