Emergency! Was the shit back in the 70's.  Such a popular TV show that it also ran as "Movie of the weeks" as well.

There are a ton of comicbooks that should be movies. I'd like to see a Silver Surfer movie.

You mean like this one from 2007?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0486576/

("Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer")

Or this one in production, expected out next year?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1051916/

("Silver Surfer")

^^^ I thought about the same movie, but I don't know how it would do unless you kep it a period piece. Gang life just gives such a different picture in today's word.

I would like to see Slap Shot redone.

Yeah man there just aren't many baseball gangs with painted faces just kicking it on the streets on new york anymore.

Movie: Clash of the titans.

Game: Blood (PC) Its been over 10 years since the original,  and the second part was an abortion of epic proportions. It would be super sweet if it could be redone with the same feel, gameplay, and setting as the original.

TV show: None. Not really a fan of remakes or udpated versions of them. Keep 'em fresh, I say.

Edit to add:  As with the Punisher, Hulk, Batman etc, I wish the last 3 Star Wars films (prequels) could be redone by someone other than Lucas. Ooooohhhhh the horror!

Straight cash, homey.

It looks like they are making a Ghost Buster's video game.

It actually looks pretty decent and not an abomination of the movie!

The Ghostbusters game is canon, and will be the equivalent of a 3rd movie.  It's written by Ackroid and Murray.

For TV, there was a very good show called Alien Nation.  It was about aliens coming to earth and mingling with our population.  It focused on a cop and his parter (one alien, one human) and was kind of like a buddy cop-drama, with aliens.   ...sounds weird, but it was really cool.  And I imagine with better technology, they could do a lot of cool things with it.

Booyah!  Alien Nation remake in the works!

Alien Nation was a movie before it was a TV show.

^ Yes, I'm aware, but I think the format of TV is really good for that story (movie, too, though).  Starring James Caan and Manny Patinkin.... Between Homeland, Alien Nation, and Princess Bride, Patinkin can play anything.

I started hitting people in their armpits after watching that movie. It didn't work as well in real life as it did in the movie. I'm not able to figure out why.

I loved Emergency!  Every once and a while I'll go watch a couple old episodes on HULU, may be due for another watch.  Not to mention I could go for a couple episodes of the Rockford Files.

Emergency was great when I was a kid. It gets show in the Orlando market currently and I have gone and watched a few episodes. It sure is campy these days though.
