Did anyone see the Knee to the head on Akin Ayodele ? I didn't see it. And that Pass Interference call that set up that long ass drive on Jones I think? Did we get fucked or was it legit? Seems like the Refs played us hard........I'm glad one of them took a helmet to the face.  Evil

Call him a douche all you want....I was going to make a post about how fucked up the penalties were against us....offensive pass interference?  Did you see the play?  More like defensive....there were a couple of other plays too....I think we had a Defensive pass interference that was bullshit...looked more like a good play to me....Refs were the ones who where douches today...baaaaaaaad calls on their part and it made the game closer than it was.

I didn't get the Unnecessary roughness call on Akin Ayodele . He didn't seem to complain but dang the refs are really being Jackasses this year. Someone needs to remind them this is a contact sport............

Did you see the Steelers' kicker get a 15-yarder a few minutes ago for the smallest, weakest push ever seen in pro football?

Sometimes the refs really need to get a clue and have a sense of proportion.

I thought the defensive pass interference call against Culver was total BS.  I can see maybe where London pushed off but there was contact from both guys throughout the route and to call it on one guy was irresponsible.

It did seem like the refs were all up in our jocks in this game.  The Ayodele "knee to the head" i didn't see either, but its possible that he got up after getting horse-collar-blocked in the back and knee'd him in the head...

As far as the knee to the head, the replay wasn't that great but I remember quite clearly the color commentator saying yeah they always nail the guy who retaliates.  There was one pass interference call on a 3 yard crossing route that should never have been called and they ended up getting a free field goal because of it.  I still feel like we got away with one though because the 49ers by and large played well enough to win the game and Singletary is one hell of a coach.

You ever notice how they seem to miss a lot of replays for questionable calls?  Thank you NFL Films. <signed Roger Gooddell>

Did anyone notice the play clock expired on Porter sack.  I would have gone irate if the Niner's had converted the first down

These were the 2 plays I was referring to. WTF?  I'd like to see a reply of the knee to the head but somehow they didn't want us to see it.  Indifferent

That's why the guys in the production booth, and Steve Sabol, get paid the big bucks.  The majority of the announcers always agree with the refs.  Phil Simms comes to mind.  Madden pointed out a bad call last night though.

The play clock expires on 90% of plays in the NFL on every Sunday.  The clock has to be at "00" for one full second before the refs will call it.  Its like the shot clock in basketball, the big number can say "00" but the backboard doesn't light up until one second later (in this case they typically display 10ths of a second on the shot clock).

We were called for offensive pass interference at one point and the whole crowd booed.  ...however, I think it was the right call.  It looked to me like the offensive player was grabbing the defensive player by the front of the jersey, so when he fell backwards, he pull the other guy down on him.

I didn't get a good look at the play but offensive PI is bullshit.  With the new rules, it happens constantly.  That white guy in the Texans game, not Walter or the TE, got away with it all game.  There's a reason Bruce was open all day yesterday and he didn't get called once.  One time he got full extension on Goodman with both hands.  If London was a stud, he probably wouldn't have got called.
