Which Dolphin do you think underachieved most this season?

I'd have to give it to WR Earnest Wilford.  For all the hype about him being a red zone threat and that big contract he signed, he contributed virtually nothing.  He was inactive for half the season, and only an injury to Greg Camarillo made him the 5th receiver.  He doesn't play on special teams, and I see no reason for him to warrant sticking around.

I agree. It's hard to finder a bigger goat on the whole roster than Wilford.

There were a few others I would like to give it to, notably Chris Crocker and Derek Hagan, but they were released before the season was halfway over.

Ya Wilford...I guess Jason Allen too, but he wasn't given much of a chance to succeed so I could see an argument against that.

Ernest Wilford wins for being the biggest waste of salary cap. His ratio of income in $ divided by on field production was the worst by far of any player who spent time on the active roster.

Shawn Murphy, for never making it off the practice squad (despite numerous injuries at the offensive guard position), gets honorable mention for biggest waste of a (traded up for!)  2008 draft pick. Honorable mention also to John Beck for biggest waste of a 2007 draft pick.

A loyal fan of the 'fins since the time of Joe Auer, Dick Wood, and Wahoo McDaniel.

How can it not be WR Ernest Wilford?  I still say the team should just give Wilford's salary to London.  At least he goes out and EARNS his paycheck.

I will say one good thing about Ernest Wilford:

At least he had the decency to suck out loud.  This is as opposed to, say, a Derek Hagan, who plays just well enough to eat up a roster spot year after year.

How about Chris Crocker ?

Read my post above.  I was thinking of giving it to him, but he was benched after two games, and released after five.

Wilford for people that were supposed to play.  Renaldo Hill as a starter.  That guy can't tackle and he's usually late to the party on pass defense.

I don't know how Ernest Wilford doesn't get the season shame.  You guys want to shame guys like Ted Ginn and Joey Porter for being "invisible" but Wilford isn't even on the field.  For the veteran WR on the squad with a guaranteed contract, this is inexcusable!
