Tennessee 20  Baltimore 10-  Joe Flacco's magic carpet ride comes to an abrupt end as the Ravens travel to Tennessee to face a team that plays a lot like them, but with more talent on both sides of the ball.

Pittsburgh 24  San Diego 10- San Diego is heading to the cold weather, with their star running back nursing a groin injury and going up against a Pittsburgh defense that can stop General Patton's tanks.

Carolina 35  Arizona 31-  Offenses galore will be on display at this barn burning party in downtown Charlotte.  Carolina will bring the running game, Arizona the quarterback and pass catchers.

NY Giants 21  Philadelphia 17-  This is the matchup Giants fans did not want.  I'm calling it Giants because of home field advantage, but each team won in the other team's house this season.  This could go either way, and will probably come down to mistakes.

America's team

I hate Pittsburgh this year. I think they are way overrated, but then you take a look at how brutal their schedule was and you have to respect that. They played the hardest schedule in the NFL this year, hands down. They are battle tested. Anyone remember that ugly ass 11-10 game this year on Sunday night football?

Expect more of the same.

Pitt 13 SD 10

Tennessee has too much offense for Baltimore and eventually Tennessee's running game wears down that D.

Tenn 27 Baltimore 10

Carolina is undefeated at home and I am rooting so hard for Arizona, but reality is that I can't see Skirt Warner being allowed to sit in the pocket against the Panthers, plus Boldin is hurt again and Arizona doesn't run the ball.

Panthers 34 Arizona 17

The G-Men have to be alittle miffed about having to play the Eagles after already facing them twice this year. No walk to the Super Bowl this year either for the Jints. Looks like they would have to face Philly then Carolina to get to the big show.  Donovan McNabb looked good again passing for 300 yds as Westbrook was held useless until he busted the game clinching 71 yd screen pass. I am not sure that the Giants will be as comfortable at home as they were on the road last year. New Yorks a pressure cooker and the boo-birds will come out early if they don't produce.

Upset special: Philly 20 Giants 17

I agree with your predictions, except I think SD will pull off the upset.

Philly sucks. Each and every single god damn year, everyone gets the biggest hard-on for the Eagles, and it makes me sick. They have never won anything, ever, and everyone loves them. Everyone - AGAIN - is picking against the Giants - AGAIN. Just like last year, everyone picked against the Giants when they played Tampa, Dallas, Green Bay, and then in the Super Bowl. This year, here we go again.

Wake me up when Philly actually does something noteworthy.

Giants - 31
Philly - 17

B. Jacobs (NYG): 148 Yards, 3 TD
McNabb: Leaves game in 1st (vaginal problems)

Other games:

Carolina - 23
Arizona - 10

Tennessee - 13
Baltimore - 21

Pittsburgh - 47
San Diego - 0

So far, Tennessee is moving the ball at will, but turned it over twice deep in Baltimore territory.  If I'm Jeff Fisher, I'm frustrated, but I'm confident.  Tennessee has not put much heat on the rookie QB Flacco.  Look for them to turn up that heat in the second half.

7-7 at the half.

Turnovers killed the Titans today, not to mention a Delay of Game penalty that was not called on Baltimore's game winning drive.  Baltimore beats Tennessee 13-10 in Nashville.

And we witnessed history today.  Joe Flacco has become the first rookie QB to win 2 playoff games.  A rookie QB has never started in a Super Bowl.  Let's see if he can become the first next week.  He'll be in either Pittsburgh or San Diego.... two tough places.

Anyone that watched this game can see why I just can't get behind the Titans, they never can seem to get it right.I want to vomit right now because now I will have to listen to an entire week of the sportstalk morons telling me how great Ray Lewis and Ed Reed are and how that "tough Ravens defense" slapped Tennessee in the mouth on their home field, when in reality, they had zero to do with this win the Titans just laid an egg when it came to holding on to the ball.I only hope that they have to go into Pittsburgh and get their asses handed to them.

That's exactly what's gonna happen.  Pittsburgh's defense is better than Baltimore's and they will rattle this rookie QB.  There's a reason why a rookie QB has never started a Super Bowl.  Joe Flacco won't be the first.

Word.  Not to mention Baltimore lucking out by Chris Johnson being hurt. F Baltimore.

Regardless of the outcome, he's done a pretty decent job at the reigns. Even after being "thrown to the wolves" and risking "his confidence being shattered." Same with Ryan.

Arizona 33  Carolina 14.  Jake Delhomme fumbled and threw 5 picks.  Dang!!!  How did Arizona manage to sneak the defense in through the back door??

Did some of you people watch the same game on CBS that I did? Baltimore BEAT THE SHIT out of Tennessee. I have never seen so many players limp off and be escorted off the field than I have in this game. Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Bart Scott, and all those dudes BEAT UP the Titans, and that's why they won. Stop being upset because Baltimore BEAT THE SHIT out of the Dolphins last week.

First of all, ditto to both landlocked and Thundergod--I'm getting to where I can't stand Baltimore again these past few games (starting back with the 2nd game against Pittsburgh at Baltimore) for a non-divisional opponent, and I really hope that if Pittsburgh wins (because I'm not so sure that the Bolts could do it, at least not in the style that I would *appreciate*, if you will) tomorrow, that they smack the Blackbirds back to hell next Sunday.  I don't mind Flacco and some of their offensive players, but I'm gettin' frickin' tired of hearin' about their thug-ass defense with the exception of Trevor Pryce and their other safety (Leonhard, I think it is).  Those two don't seem so bad, but I've had all I can stomach watching some of their other guys on that side of the ball.  Still, as much as I thought Tennessee should have won this game (I'll get to you in a sec, Joe), they did shoot themselves in the foot and ultimately didn't deserve to win this game...though, like Tommy said earlier, I do agree that they moved the ball fine against Baltimore.

Look, man, I don't know about the rest of the guys, but I will say this--I can agree with you that Baltimore did roll us up (I'd say "BEAT THE SHIT" would be a little bit of strong words because without all of those turnovers, it would've been a respectable game--not saying we would've won, and they did force those turnovers, but I know it would've been at least a close game because we were able to move the ball against them the few times we had pass protection or it was dumped down to the backs) and, yes, that was frustrating for me as a Miami fan.  But that is NOT the reason that I'm hating on the Ravens right now.  While not a Titans fan (obviously), I do prefer them to the Ravens (I have a lot of friends that are Titans fan and don't like the Ravens, so...) and would have liked them to win.  I think they should've won but they made too many stupid mistakes/bad decisions at critical junctures (both penalties and turnovers) to deserve to win, regardless of the yardage disparity in their own favor.  But, yes, I did watch the game, and I happened to also see a few of those ol' Ravens have to go to the sidelines.  What about old man Willie Anderson?  Or our former Alabama fullback, Le'Ron McClain?  Or Samari Rolle?  I'll give you that we all saw "Ray-Ray" lay the timber to Tennessee's fullback, Ahmard Hall--but what did he do besides get up and start jawing back at "Ray Ray" after the big lick?  I think I watched the same game you did, and the big hitting was definitely going both ways.

It was almost silly, though, how overhyped/amped both sides were out there, fightin' like a bunch of women.  Still, it annoyed the piss out of me when Ed Reed of all people (who I honestly can't say I'd ever seen do something like that before today) was obviously trying to hurt Chris Johnson when he was already going down and locked up from the waist down by another Ravens defender--you all that saw that play know exactly what I'm talking about.  Yet, when they show the replay (the flag had already been thrown), they flagged one of Tennessee's offensive lineman for a personal foul that, from what I saw, didn't occur.  One of the other o-lineman was throwing Reed off of Johnson, but I know I would've been doing the exact same thing if I was him, and I hope that's not why they called a penalty and just pinned it on the wrong guy/number.

I'm sorry, but shit like that just totally rubs me the wrong way, and it seriously seems like Baltimore is one of the teams doing it more and more as of late.  Props to them for pulling out the W in Nashville, but I hope they get their asses smacked around like the bunch of punks they are next Sunday.

Oh, and believe it or not, I actually do like John Harbaugh.   Cheesy
