Excuse me for being a chatty Cathy today.....

One of the girls in the prosecutors office was telling me about her dog they've had for about six months...She said it was some type of small terrier, they moved it's basket/blanket in the bedroom,at night so she could sleep with the family.Everyday they do it,during the day when her and her boyfriend are at work, she drags it all back into the living room....She says she knows it has to take her all day to do it,she's a small dog,the basket thing is weighted, and 3 times larger than she is at the moment, plus she drags all the blankets that are hers also...

I thought it was funny,I told her her my dogs have free run of the house, but one has occupied the space under my computer desk,he's drug his fish, and football pillows under there (plus an old fuzzy Dolphins blanket...) Now that I'm not using my small mahogany desk that I built...The other, has a few spots, her favorite,is under the dining room table,or a cubby hole in front of the china cabinet, next to the bar/sideboard....

Not to mention they both take over my bed,and just let me sleep there when I want...

My dog, who lives with my parents now, likes to be where everyone else is. She has her bed in my parent's room, but during the day she likes to hang where the people are. When she's outside she has dug a hole halfway to China and she will go out and sit in the dirt in the sun, she freaking loves it. When I come home, she will usually sleep with me...a 55 pound mutt and me in a twin bed, it's good times! Smiley I miss her a lot Sad

My beagle has to be under a blanket.  If Mrs. Maine gets a blanket out while watching TV the beagle has to get under it.  She also has to sleep under the covers when we go to bed.

Our Akita sprawls out in different places depending on temperature.  On cool days, he'll lay on his bed or on the floor of a carpeted room.   On hot days, he'll usually choose the wood.

We're on the 2nd floor.  He likes to sit in the front window and look out into the parking lot, where people come and go.

My dogs have their spots on the couch they take over, or if I'm laying on the couch, one will squeeze under my legs.  They sleep on either side of me in my bed when it's sleep time.

Jesus, does anyone in America own a cat?  I digress...  Grin

My cats love their certain sleeping spots. 1 loves the foot of my bed on top of his favorite cat blanket, the other loves the fluffy cat bed I got him out in the living room, and the other you will ALWAYS find under the bed.

That's how my little Italian Greyhound is. So, I have blankets around the couch and house for him to lay under. He also like to lay under pillows.

Link The male cat has to be on the Dog's bed when the dog is crated...when the dog is out he finds a spot anywhere that the dog can't reach.

Zelda the female cat has a cushion at one of the chairs at the dining room table that she can be found at just about 24 hours a day.

Ripley, our 7 month old pup has to be anywhere I am...currently, it is under the computer desk.  His favorite nap spot is on the couch wedged between daddy and I with his head on my lap.  If daddy is jealous, he stays right on the floor at my feet snuggled between the couch and the table and of course, wrapped in a blanket.

I think we all know that Link's favorite spot is in front of a cozy window in a small cafe in Paris!! Oui??

A waterbed...that could get dicey with a dog! I know my dog would be freaked by a waterbed, she is a little skidish! Good luck.
