2011 NFC East Champions!

« on: September 28, 2009, 08:44:02 am »

Here's a guy who made LaDanian Tomlinson and Phillip Rivers the toast of the town in 2005 / 2006, where LT sets the rushing record. He leaves to come to Miami, and San Diego goes from 14-2 to mediocrity and LT is no where near the player that he once was. He drops 0-16 on Miami (i'm not counting that bullshit win vs. the Ravens in a lucky OT pass), and he gets run out of town as the worst coach in Dolphins history (which he was by miles).

Now in his second season in Baltimore, Joe Flacco is the absolute man. Played in the AFC title game last year, and Flacco is now lighting it up on a weekly basis.

So is Miami the new Cleveland Browns or Oakland Raiders, where coaches and players come to die and then when they leave they become good again? I think it very well may be.

Yeah, you're both right...this has nothing to do with...

1) The fact that Cameron's Chargers and Cameron's Ravens both have a ton more talent than the Dolphins did, across the board. O-line, skill positions...everywhere.
2) The fact that Cameron was the OC in both SD and Baltimore, while filling the HC role in Miami.

Nah, it can't be that. It HAS to have something to do with some supertitious voodoo shit like Miami being cursed. Roll Eyes

Thread being moved to the anti-fins section, as "anti-fins" was the only reason for it being posted. Please leave the anti-fins topics in that section, rather than around the NFL.

Cam Cameron is a perfect example of the Peter Principal -- people rise to their level of incompetance. He is a great OC, but he is not head coach material.

Did Cam not make any offensive calls in Miami?  I know you like to bang this dead horse Jtex, but it's like talking about Saban or George Wilson at this point.
