If the dolphins can somehow pull wins out of their asses the next two weeks, they could still be in decent shape going into the bye.  2-3 with 2-0 in the division.  I think they match up well against the jets because, lol, who is revis going to shut down, ginn?  Hopefully Henne will atleast not be terrible.  He shouldn't really need to do much with brown and williams.  Lets see if the fucking dolphins can stop fumbling in the red zone.

I think we are going to have a more difficult time running against the Jets and Patsies front sevens than we've had against our first three opponents...and we will need to air it out at some point in both matchups. Please Henne, make yourself a hero and beat these two teams!!

I think the Fins beat the Bills at home pretty easily.

I also think they can take the Jets, but probably not without a bit of luck.

I definitely think the next 2 games are definitely winnable.

Substitute Bills for Patsies in my original post and it all comes out the same way...we'll still need to air it out at least occasionally against Buffalo and the Jets if we're going to beat them.

Hey DB!

The only reason why Denver is winning is because they've got two ex-Dolphins fortifying their secondary. It sure ain't Orton! He'll fold like a cheap chair!

Jake Plummer is still available!

There's a reason for the saying "There are lies, damned lies and statistics."

Let's just, for the sake of argument, say we win the next two (1-1 is more likely, but...). How many teams have gone on to make the playoffs after starting 2-3? Quite a few.

The point is, 90% of the time, a team that starts 0-3 is shitty. THAT'S the reason they don't make the playoffs, not the arbitrary 0-3 start. And, say what you will, I don't think the Dolphins are shitty. They've shown they can play fairly even with two of the better teams out there (Colts & Chargers). Plus, the NFC East has the potential to be really even this year.

The big question mark at this point is, of course, Henne. After the Colts game, I kinda jumped on the "start Henne" bandwagon. Cooling down a bit over the following days made me more realistic, but the main argument I made at the time still hold: The Dolphins just weren't asking Pennington to DO anything. And, for whatever reason, the curls and outs to Camarillo just weren't happening this year.

Maybe so ho, but yours is coming DB.  Winning is easy when you play turds like Cinci and Cleveland (and Oakland and KC).  You won't even win your weakass division and you know it.

I think Buffalo will chew us up with the passing attack following TOs streak going down, but feel we'll somehow play well against NYJ by running well and stopping the run.  Sanchez is decent, but he's still a rook.  I think we might get some of that luck Fein is talking about in the form of a punt block, Hail Mary, or NY taking us lightly.  Maybe the football gods will give us a bullshit play like Denver had against Cinci.

Two ex Dolphins fortifying their secondary..... who would've thunk that Andre Goodman and Renaldo Hill could fortify ANY secondary.

I'm gonna DVR a Donks game just to watch Renaldo Hill.  There's no way he's that much better just by switching teams.

The real question is, is he REALLY that much better by switching teams, or was the Donkos secondary so bad in 2008 that an average safety like him makes them better??
