Shame of the Game goes to Ted "Pansy Ass" Ginn.  Drops two passes he could've caught, goes out of bounds on another catch and didn't think to try to get his feet in, runs out of bounds on nearly every kickoff return, and goes out for a loss on that end around because he pussied out rather than getting hit.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the personal foul on the kickoff within the last two minutes was kicked from TB 15 yard line?

And Ginn only made it to the Dolphin 17 yard line? I was expecting him at least to get to the 50 yard line.

Exactly.  Tampa had to kick from their 20, they squib it, the ball bounces, and Ted "Pansy Ass" Ginn lets it get by him.  Then has to go back and get it because he touched it, then gets run down.

Tepop, you're a fucking idiot.  No, Ginn would not have to get it if he didn't touch it because Tampa could just down it right there.  Because he touched it, it's a live ball.

Fuck off, loser.

Tommy, on a kickoff, once the ball touches the ground and has traveled farther than ten yards, it's live.  It doesn't matter if the receiving team has touched it or not.

This is the entire principle on which on-side kickoffs are based.

Ronnie Brown and Chad Henne!

Just joking, teasing Tepop.

Gotta be Ginn. Or Sparano for continuing to have him in a WR role.

Chad Henne for throwing a bad pass that nearly cost us the game, and Ronnie Brown for the fumble that got the rally started that nearly cost us the game.

Dan Henning.  I gotta have more Cat!

Apparently some of you missed the plays that Brown did make--one sort of looked like a touchdown.  More Wildcat or better ankles and he's over 100 easy.

Freeman has a perennial pro-bowl caliber TE.  Miami has other team's scrap, undrafted free agents, and Ted Ginn.  Yeah, with Winslow alone, Freeman has more to work with.  WTF are you thinking that you can't see that? Henne is made to throw the short stuff, just like Pennington was.  This is the offense.  Ball control, no risks.

Once again, WORD.

We didn't lose, so I don't like to give out the shame, but if I did, it would come down to how we would have lost.  There are 3 candidates: Ginn, Brown, and Henne.

Ginn dropped a TD pass (again).  But he also did a poor fielding job on the squib kick, after a 15 yard penalty should've started us somewhere near midfield.  Instead, we're inside our own 20.

Brown fumbled which started the avalanche.  (Although, I think he also suffered an injury on the play.)  It's not an excuse for fumbling, but I'm more likely to excuse it.  Pain is a strange thing and you can't always expect someone to keep their focus in that situation.

And finally, Henne.  He had really grown from the previous games and played conservatively.  Did you guys notice that he didn't take sacks.  He played smart and threw it away.  ...then the one big mistake that almost cost us.  You just can't make that throw.  (Although, I also don't think it was the correct call.  You need to run and make them use the timeout.)

what part of my post is incorrect.  i didnt put that the bal needs to touch the ground.  it doesn't, but the kicking team on an onsides kick hits it into the ground because then the receiving team cant call a fair catch.

Tommy and Tepop - BOTH OF YOU need to calm down on the personal attacks.  Yes, I said your name in my post.
---------------------------

You guys need to ease up on Ginn.  The first ball, it would have been a VERY tough catch, and there was a defender on his back.  The ball on the sideline, he made the catch but just couldn't get the feet in (after a decent effort).  You are all just hypercritical of him, and its almost sickening how you still expect him to be perfect.

I think my shame is going to Dan Henning for calling a passing play on 3rd and 7 inside 2 minutes.  I think you have to run the ball and try to get the first down, and if not you make them burn the last timeout and punt it.  Fields has been punting lights out 60+ most of the day.  Make the 1-win Bucs go 70+ yards with no timeouts inside 2 minutes.  Instead, they call a passing play and give the ball away at their own 30.  Henne had no business throwing the ball on that play.

My statement was more of a practical point than a point of rule, since a kick that goes more than ten yards but hasn't hit the ground can be fair caught (as Tepop84 mentioned).
