Is it me or are the dolphins getting worst as the season goes on.  today was the ugliest win this season.   the offense could do nothing productive, henne makes the bonehead int throw, they bring Pat white in to look stupid.   they did not deserve to win, remember this is a 1-8 team, the phins should have slaughtered the bucs.  but it comes down to a last minute FG.   I'm worried for the rest of this season after this poor display today.

This should be in anti-fins. but yea, they are getting worse.  that is what happens when you take out a great qb in pennington and put in a pos like henne.

The Bucs aren't as bad as their record indicates.

This was a very uninspiring win. I wouldn't be celebrating this win if I were the Dolphins. I'd be mad as hell. They played like a 7-9 , 6-10 team out there today.

I'm sorry, I've only watched every single Bucs game this year.  What are you basing off of, box scores?  You put your foot in your mouth a lot.

If it makes anyone feel better, the Saints almost lost the Rams today.

like it or not pennington was never anything but average at best,  with a few flashes of greatness. and thats pushing it. that was really funny , man. thanks for brightening up my day.

Should have stayed in the Wildcat.

It's easy to look at the Bucs, say they suck, go through the motions, and lay a turd like today.  Luckily we were on the right side of the worst call this year or it would have been an L.

Tepop I don't think taking Pennington out was a choice of the coaching staff, seeing as he was put on injured reserve.

I also believe we are better off now then when Penny was in as he was not our future and Henne is.
There is no substitute for game experience.

The Bucs are definitely not as bad as their record.  They have QB issues, though, and the rookie looks promising for them.  The Dolphins have a bad habit of laying down in the second half, and the coaching staff knows this.  They Bucs couldn't sniff the end zone the first half.

If the Dolphins can't figure out how to finish games and curb-stomp their downed opponents, they will lose games late (like the Saints and Bucs games).

I think it bears mentioning that the Bucs scored 9 points on field goals of 50+ yards (3 for 3). If any one of those misses, the Dolphins win easily. Not only would the Bucs have missed out on 3 points, the Dolphins would have gotten great field position in exchange.

Yea, and we cut the kid that kicked those three 50+ FGs earlier this year.

He sucked in preseason.  I doubt he has a game even close to that the rest of the year.

Its the same story each week with this team...

Minimal-to-no explosiveness on either side of the ball.

One of our defensive backs will inevitably give up at least one big play.

Zero killer instinct on offense.

Good at stopping the run, good running backs, occasional pressure on the QB and a few solid tackles out of the backfield keep it close.

This is the recipe for a team that will always play a close game with an outside chance of getting blown out.

----------------------------------

With that said, I am not complaining.  For such a young team, we are doing about as good as you could expect.  I will start complaining in a year or two when our guys should be ready enough to get the job done with consistency.  At that point, I will be the first to rip our coaching staff if they continue to keep the handcuffs on the players.
